| About | Virginia L. "Peggy" Morris, 74 of Zanesville, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice surrounded by her family. Peggy was born Thursday, December 23, 1937 in Zanesville, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Rielly. She married Donald G. Morris on Monday, July 18, 1955. Peggy loved to crochet, read and watch her cooking shows and soap operas. She was a great cook, loved to shop especially for Christmas for her family. Peggy retired from Colony Square Mall following many years of service. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by six children, Cindy (David) Freriks of New Lexington, Cristy Glaze of Columbus, Jody (Viola) Morris, Jay (Jane Zender) Morris of Hopewell, Kelley (Bret) Morgan of Zanesville and Donald "Skip" (Angie) Morris of Nashport; eight grandchildren, Rusty (Erin) Davis, Jay & Danielle Morris, Cody (Brittany Renick) Morgan, Justin Morgan, Halie (Chris Wright) Morris, Laken (Jared Gonder) Morris and Wade Morris; seven great grandchildren, Audrey Davis, Kolton & Ryan Morris, Taylor & Scyler Morgan, Braelyn Huff and Logan Wright; special family friends, Steven Huff, Alexes Cox, and Dorothy "Dot" Mitchell; two sisters, Dorothy Hasor and Katherine (Bill) Goodall of Roseville; two brothers Johnny (Betty) Rielly and Robert (Wilda) Chaney. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Hindle; two brothers; and a special family friend, Fred "Huck" Mohler. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. |
