| About | Virginia M. Ralph, 92, of Zanesville, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. Virginia was born July 17, 1917 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Edgar J. and Eva E. Davis Davis. She was a graduate of Lash High School 1935 and Muskingum College 1939, taught school for one year at Dexter City and retired after 20 years as a teacher for Zanesville School System. Virginia was member of Central Presbyterian Church, Women's Bible Study Group, Delta Kappa Gamma, Bethesda Senior League, volunteer at Bethesda Hospital for 58 years, Zanesville Women's Association, AAUW, Retired Teacher's Association, Hearts and Hands, Friday Lunch Bunch and Euchre and Bridge Clubs. Surviving Virginia are her daughters, Carol J. (Jim) Yearling of Pataskala and Jennifer J. Schuyler of Cleveland and one grandchild, Kurt G. Yearling of Pataskala; and special nephew, Eric (Barbara) Stiers of Zanesville. Preceding her in death was her husband, Homer G. Ralph who died in November 6, 1997; and daughter, Linda L. Ralph who died March 31, 2007. Visitation for Virginia will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. today Tuesday October 13, 2009 at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave, where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 with Pastor Ray Morrison officiating. Committal service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. |
