About | Wilbur Arthur “Will” Hina, 84 of Zanesville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Altercare/Absolute Hospice. He was born November 30, 1937 in Muskingum County, the son of Wilbur Raymond and Dorathy “Dora” Eva Dodson Hina. He was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church, served in the Air National Guard of Ohio and the Reserve of the United States Air Force, retired from Central Ohio Coal in 1999 after 34 years of service. Will enjoyed carpentry & sports. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice (Cochran) Hina whom he married June 5, 1960; two daughters, Susan (Joe) Davis, Lori (Kenneth) Young and son, Donald (Rebecca) Hina; grandchildren Wade (Veronica) Young, Carly (Jerry) Knapp, Peyton (Sean) Adoph, and Hayley Hina; and 2 great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Dorothy JoAnn (Herb) Chambers, Shelby Snelling, Sandra (Jerry) Jarrett, Larry Hina, Karen Chapman, Clyde (Vicki) Hina, Chuck (Sue) Hina, Sara Schultze, and Russell (Cindy) Hina. In addition to his parents, Wilbur was preceded in death by a sister, Donna J. Hicks and a brother, Ronald Hina. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Thomas officiating. Burial will conclude at Zanesville Memorial Park. |
