| About | REDMOND, OR: Wilda June Moore died in Redmond, Oregon, on December 20, 2009 at the age of 83. She was born on December 23, 1925, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Herbert and Gertrude Jackson. She was one of three children including her brother, Glenn Jackson and her sister, Garnet Finney. In 1944, she was married to Zane Grey Moore of Young Harris, Georgia. Wilda graduated from Lash High School in 1943. She spent her working life in Zanesville as a secretary at the Mosaic Tile Company and for the Zanesville Improvement Program and retired as a Vice President for Offinger Management Company. She moved to Bend, Oregon, in 1994, and to Redmond, Oregon, in 2005. She is survived by her son, Lin of Redmond; a grandson, David Moore of Willits, California; and two great grandchildren, Griffin and Finlay Moore. Graveside services were held on December 22, 2009, at the Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend. |
