| About | William E. Leslie, 73, of Zanesville, died at 8:36 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital at Genesis Good Samaritan. He was born August 9, 1936, in Zanesville, son of the late William C. and Margaret Gordon Leslie. He retired in 1991 as a civil engineer for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ and a United States Air Force Veteran. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Karen L. Kelly Leslie, whom he married July 4, 1959, of the home; a daughter, Vickie (Jerry) Mathewson of Columbus, Ohio; and a son, Mark (Nancy) Leslie of Greenfield, Indiana. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. |
