About | "Prince" William Harry Honeywell age 68, of Dayton, OH went to be with Our Lord, Sat. Sept. 15, 2012 while sleeping at home. He was born Feb. 23, 1944 in Zanesville, OH to Harry L. & Vonda M. (Bright) Honeywell, who preceded him in death; He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marsha (Honeywell) Brenlish. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra (Mallett) Honeywell; his two sons, David (Holli) and Jason (Heather) Honeywell; five beautiful grandchildren, Grace Ann, Luke, Mikayla, Nicholas and Taylor; and numerous other family members and friends. Over the years, Bill kept both sides of his large family, his co-workers and friends in joyous laughter with his amazing sense of humor, joke-telling skills and singing abilities, (especially Elvis's songs!) He could also be known as a quiet man of few words, loved by many & enjoyed Soduku puzzling! Special thanks go to his Aunt Shirley and Uncle Chuck (Berry) for the very important role they played in both he and his sister's life and his niece, Tammy (Brenlish) Gross for all her work. William spent 40 yrs in the finance and insurance business in managerial positions, before retiring in Mar.2007, he worked at Higgins Lumber Co, Roseville, OH for 13 years as an estimator. He was a Sgt. AlC in the Air Force from 1962-1966, attended Boise College in Idaho and was a member of The Immaculate Conception Church in Dayton, OH. Burial was Fri. 9/21/2012 at the Dayton OH National Cemetery, with military honors. |
