About | Wilma Eileene Roberts, 89, of 8821 Fawn Ridge Dr. in Fort Myers, FL, passed away on April 2. She was born on September 18, 1921 in East Fultonham, OH, daughter of the late Denzel and Edna Wilkins, also of East Fultonham. On August 31, 1940, she married Hubert R. Roberts, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2001, after 60 years of marriage. Wilma was a 1940 graduate of Zanesville High School. She was a member of East Fultonham United Methodist Church and an active attendee until moving to Cleveland in 1999. She was an active member of the East Fultonham Flower Garden Club and a lifelong member of Eastern Star. She and her husband were small business owners, starting with a gas station and then owning the East Fultonham Dairy Queen for 30 years. During the off season, she and her husband enjoyed traveling across the United States and around the world. She moved to Florida in 2003 where she lived with her daughter, Becky. She enjoyed playing bridge, the warm weather, and spending time with her friends. She is survived in death by her two daughters, Cheryl Pehoushek and Becky Roberts; two granddaughters, Chanin Wendling and Charla Steele; and three great-grandchildren, MacKenzie, Cyrus, and Emerson. Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. |
