| About | Mike served in the US Navy most of his adult life, Retiring in 1992 due to poor health. He had cardiomyopathy due to multiple bouts of pneumonia while serving in the Navy. In Dec. 1995 he had a double bypass during which he coded on the table and suffered a slight stroke. His heart swelled and he was placed in a drug induced coma to give his heart time to heal. He coded several times during 1996 and in Sept. his worn out heart gave up. |
