| About | Joni Dawn Williams of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 59. She was born on Saturday, October 16, 1965, to Terry and Sheryl (Blanton) Arning in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Joni grew up in Broken Arrow and attended Broken Arrow Public Schools from kindergarten until her graduation from Broken Arrow High School in 1983. She then attended Tulsa Junior College (TJC). On Saturday, March 1, 1986, Joni married the love of her life, Boyd Williams, in First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow. Joni enjoyed cooking and caring for others, going to concerts, and going to dinners with her Friday night bunch. Mostly, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and spending time with her grandbabies. Joni was preceded in death by her son Bradley Michael Williams and her mother-in-law Nadine Williams. She is lovingly survived by her husband Boyd Williams; daughter Annie Williams and her fiancee, Todd Dayton; daughter-in-law Liz Ollis; grandchildren Gideon Ollis, Isabella Willliams, Lyneah Williams, Cruz Dayton, and Jacob Dayton; parents Terry and Sheryl Arning; sister Jana Hulse; brother Heath Arning; other extended family and a lifetime of friends. |
