Linda Leigh Sanders blessed this world when she was born on October 15th, 1960 in Albuquerque, NM. She married her high school sweetheart, Terry, on March 22nd 1980. She gave birth to their son, Grant on April 15th, 1984. Linda was an accomplished nurse and had a profound love of horses, in particular, showing Morgan horses. She loved her cabin in the mountains of Chama, it was and always will be her special place. She was an incredible, selfless, wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She held many titles for different people and she was and always will be greatly admired and loved. Linda left this world to be with God on the night of March 28th. She is survived by her husband Terry, son Grant and wife Rachel, grandson Jameson, mother Jeanene, sister Julie (Ed), brother Mike (Diane), and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded by her father, James, who we know she is so happy to see again. We will have heavy hearts for now and greatly miss her, but Linda would want us all to remember we will see her again and she will be watching over us until that time. Try to smile, she loves to see us all smile. The celebration of life for Linda will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 2nd 2016 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. "If you wish to send flowers please send to St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 222 NW 15th Oklahoma City, OK. If you wish to make a donation, Linda would like those sent to the Arthritis National Research Foundation or Coffee Creek Riding Center." |
