About | Pamela was known in school as a friendly, outgoing, intelligent, Christian young girl. She only improved with age. After high school she married David Kobosky and they had 2 boys, David and Brian. Pam worked downtown for the federal government then for the FAA. She continued her education as a working mother and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Math Education in 1987. Pam taught math courses at Moore HS and then at Edmond HS until she had to discontinue working. Pam kept her sense of humor and sense of who she was in a healthy perspective. When she knew she was about to die I asked her if she ever felt mad about having to leave so early and miss so much with her boys. She looked at me with a puzzled look and said, "Are you kidding? I'm going to meet my Maker and I'm going with a good attitude. My mama didn't raise no fool." And of course we laughed. There was never a dull moment when Pam was around. Pam was a faithful member of Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church all of her life. She loved her friends and most of all her family. Her boys are grown and married now and have children of their own. One of Pam's sons named his little girl Pamela in her honor. Grandma Pam would be so proud. I'm thankful Pam and her family have been a part of my life and and important influence on my family. They are good people. Pammy, you are loved and missed. I'll see you soon--enjoy the view! |
