Steve was an avid outdoorsman and an appetite for hobbies. From having his pilots license to photography, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, astronomy with a telescope he built, gun smithing, knife and jewelry making, fur trapping and tanning, taxidermy, car and motorcycle restoration, instrument building and playing, prospecting for gold and too many more to mention. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1967. He worked several years for Rock Island Railroad and later retired from Tinker Airforce Base. He was married to Nina Faye Spencer for 57 years who proceeded him in death. |
