| About | Marlow native Charlie Albert Medell died Saturday, July 16, 1994, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 23 years old. Funeral services were held at 10:30 am Monday, July 18, at Bailey Community Church with Jon Hosch and Kyle Collins officiating. Burial was in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Medell was born August 31, 1970, in Marlow to Carl A. and Jenny S. (Archer) Medell. The 1988 Marlow High School graduate played in the MHS band and was Band King his senior year. He was a full-time rancher and member of Chisolm Trail Church of Christ in Duncan. Survivors include his mother, Jenny Medell of Marlow; his father, Carl A Medell of Durant; a sister, Mary Kathlyn Medell of Alex; and aunts and uncles.
