Born July 24, 1949 to Lowell J. and Ollie M. (Feltner) Bailey in Oklahoma City, passed on June 8, 2020 from complications of a stroke. David was a long-time resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma. He graduated from MCHS in 1967 then attended Central State College majoring in history with the intent of becoming a teacher. Unfortunately, he was 1A in 1971 making employment impossible so, he continued his education at the CSU graduate college and ultimately, law school at Oklahoma City University, graduating and passing the bar in 1976. David practiced law for over 35 years with integrity and zeal. David is survived by his wife of 24 years, Stephanie A. (Meidl) Bailey of Choctaw OK, his twin sister, Debra J. Spencer and her husband, David, of Mariette GA, and several nieces and nephews spread far and wide. David was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Joe E. Bailey. No services will be held; instead, go sit on your porch, have a beer, plink some cans, and reminisce about David. |
