About Deborah Elizabeth Teacher, of Moore OK, passed away June 9, 2019 at the age of 68. She was born February 4, 1951 in Dayton OH to Harold L. & Jean Elizabeth (Flannagan) Ripple. Deborah married the love of her life, Henry Teacher on May 23, 1981, at Tinker Air Force Base OK, and they had just celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. She was an office manager for FAA for over 30 years. Deborah enjoyed making ceramics. She loved playing Farmville. Deborah was an amazing cook and her specialties were spaghetti with meat sauce and lasagna—among many others. She loved lobster! Deborah loved to watch the Housewives of Beverly Hills (she loved watching them all). She was an avid OU Football fan and loved watching the games with Henry. Deborah was also a huge OKC Thunder Basketball fan. She loved going for rides in the car, especially to Mt. Scott. Deborah loved family get-togethers. Her first love was spending time with her family. Deborah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Henry Teacher, of the home; 2 sons, Ray Afsharpour & wife, Melissa, of El Reno OK and Kevin Teacher & wife, Tonya, of Columbus OH; 4 grandsons, Joey Afsharpour, of San Jose, CA, Kevin Teacher, Jr., of Columbus OH, Keith Teacher & wife, Amber, of Columbus OH, and Kameron Teacher of Columbus, OH; 1 brother, Ray Ripple, of Syracuse NY; close friends, Linda Faye, of Oklahoma City and Paula Ritchie, of Oklahoma City; and a host of neighbors, friends and other loving family members. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Jean Ripple; sister, Bobbi Ryan; and brother, Bill Ripple. A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.
