| About | OBITUARY - Las Cruces Sun~ News Jones Sunday, January 26, 2003 - EARL EDWIN JONES, age 65, passed away Friday January 24, 2003. Mr. Jones was born in Bentonville, Arkansas to Earl Austin and Jarrett Jones. He married Barbara Boston on June 2, 1958, they had two children, Dorri Branch of Bakersfield, California; Earl Bryan of Phoenix, Arizona., three grandchildren, Miranda Serna of Bakersfield, California, Sarah Jones and Matthew Jones of Phoenix, Arizona. Earl retired from Southern California Gas Company in 1993 and enjoyed full time RV travels. He was a member of the Moose #546, Four Creek #94, and Rebeckah #39 Lodges in Visalia, California, and Foresters of Bakersfield, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and eldest sister Jean Ball of Oregon. He is survived by his family, two sisters in Oklahoma, Jeanette Martin, and Beverly Sumner, two brothers, Neal C. Jones of California and Chris Jones of Colorado, numerous nephews and nieces and many friends. At his request cremation will take place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society SW Div., P.O. Box 5377 Phonix, Arizona 85010. Arrangements are with Graham's Mortuary and Mesilla Valley Crematory, 555 West Amador, Las Cruces, New Mexico. |
