Karen Sue (Webb) Taylor, 70, of Muskogee, was born September 17, 1951, in Muskogee to Earl and Evelyn (Burroughs) Webb and peacefully passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, in Tulsa with her loving family by her side. On October 25, 1969, in Midwest City, she married the love of her life, Tommy N. Taylor. Together they spent 52 years and five months making precious memories together. Karen graduated from Midwest City High School and then continued her education, attending Connors State College in Warner. She was a school secretary for the Muskogee Public School system for many years. Karen was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Muskogee. She was a Christian and looking forward to meeting her Lord and Savior. Karen enjoyed baking, going to arts and crafts fairs, traveling, spending time with her family and best of all, playing with her grandsons. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, Walter and Georgie Webb; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Matthey Burroughs; and father and mother-in-law, Gaines and Eunice Taylor. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Tommy Taylor of the home; daughter, Dusti Taylor Wideman and husband Garry; son, Kevin Taylor; daughter-in-law, Nimol Hen; grandsons, Nikolas Wideman and Liam Hen; brother, Bob Webb; sister-in-law, Angie and Chris Woods; nieces, nephews and many friends. A service celebrating Karen’s life will be held 1:30 pm Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Justin Kinman officiating. Committal prayers and inumment will follow at 2:30 pm at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. |
