Linda Joy (Lippe) Petersen, born January 18, 1951 to Adolph Carl and Margie Lee Lippe in Oklahoma City OK, died Wednesday, April 15, 1998. She attended St. Philip Neri Grade School through 8th Grade and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1969. Linda married Scott Brian Petersen February 17, 1979. A nurse, for over 20 years, Linda specialized in Orthopedic Surgery. Most recently, she assisted her husband, Scott, in running the family cartage business. She was a very giving and involved mother, wife, daughter, aunt, sister, who lived for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by brother, David Charles, maternal grandparents, Leo and Marion Wooden, and paternal grandparents, Otto and Adelheid Lippe. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Scott Petersen and daughter, Ivory AnLee of the home; sons, Jason Moen and Chad Petersen of Los Angeles, CA, and Presten Petersen and wife, Casey of Oklahoma City; father and mother, Carl and Margie Lippe of Midwest City OK; brothers, sisters and spouses, Randy and Myrna Lippe, Dennis and Karen Lippe, John and Josie Lippe, Bruce and Susan Lippe, Greg and Robin Lippe, Patricia and Jim Wall, Mike and Mischelle Lippe, Robert Lippe and Cindy and Joe Riggall all of the greater OKC area; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Peggy Petersen of Mustang OK and brothers-in-law and wives, Mike and Paula Petersen of Yukon OK and Jon and Sandy Petersen of Tulsa OK. Additional survivors include a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other special friends. Linda, we all love you very much and miss you dearly! A wake service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, April 17, 1998, at the Yanda & Son Chapel, 1500 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, April 18, 1998, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1107 N. Felix Place, Midwest City OK with Rev. Mark Mason and Rev. Jack Feehily officiating. Internment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, N. Kelley & Memorial Rd., OKC OK. |
