Melba Pack passed away unexpectedly in her home in Oklahoma City. She was an accountant for the Department of Environmental Quality for the State of Oklahoma since 2002. She had previously worked at the Westside Elementary School in Midwest City OK; French Distributing and RK Distributing, both in Oklahoma City. Melba was a graduate of OU with a bachelor’s degree in English, and a BA in elementary education. Melba was predeceased by both of her parents, Howard & Armilda Pack; and her oldest brother, Howard Pack, Jr., and by Ovaltine. She is survived by sister, Nancy (Jimmie) Lee, Henryetta OK; sons, Adrian (Katie) Lee, Dr. Matthew (Kim) Lee, and their respective families; brother, Oscar (Joanna) Pack, of Cogar OK; son, Monty (Kim) Pack and his family; and sister Minnie Pack, of Midwest City OK. The family wishes to thank Ann Dunagin for her faithful care for Melba. The Funeral Service will be Monday, November 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 11701 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City OK. The Committal will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City OK 73141-9699. Viewing is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. November 12-13 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, 1820 S. Douglas Blvd., in Midwest City OK 73130. Memorial donations may be given to Spring Creek Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice. |
