| About | Roger Dale Prewitt, 72, met Jesus with a smile on his face and a song in his heart on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born April 27, 1949 in Henryetta, OK, the son of the late William and Ellen (Brasher) Prewitt. He worked in airline reservations and as an auditor for the Hampton Inn Hotel in Yukon, where he was still currently employed at the time of his death. Roger loved to study the Bible and found great pleasure in playing his accordion and shooting guns, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He was a kind and generous man, and so very loved and respected by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Roger is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Prewitt; son, Scott Prewitt; sister, Diana Bow and husband Darrel; mother-in-law, Doris Cadmus; nephew, Jason Bow and wife April, and their children, Kayden, Jackson, Jase and Kutter; niece, Monica McGough and husband David and their daughters, Emily and Hannah; his two very special dogs, Buster and Turner, and his beloved Hampton Family. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Viewing will be held 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2021 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Celebration of Life services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK. |
