About | Les E. Eversull Jr., 52, quietly passed away Sept. 27 at his home in Alpine, Calif., due to heart failure. His family was by his side. Les was born in Alliance, Neb., to Leslie Emmett Eversull of Marsland, Neb., and Ruby Jane Eversull of Alliance, Neb. Life was hard in Nebraska, and the family moved to Oregon when Les was young, settling in Shedd, and then moving to Halsey and finally Brownsville. He was a graduate of Central Linn High School in Halsey in 1975. Les attended college in Coos Bay on a basketball scholarship. Les spent his professional life in multiple vocations including Motion Picture/Television Post Production, High School Basketball referee and farming in the states of California and Nebraska. In his spare time Les loved to play softball and basketball. Les was preceded in death by his father, Leslie E. Eversull Sr. in April of 2004. Les is survived by his mother, Ruby of Alpine, Calif.; brother Scott and wife Vickie of Burbank, Calif.; sisters Cheryl and husband Paul of Alpine, and Lisa and husband Mark of Canyon Country, Calif.; and 11 cherished nieces and nephews. He never married. Les will be laid to rest in Hemingford, Nebraska. |
