| About | Hard to believe someone as vibrant and physically active as Gary is gone. He was a kind and gentle soul. We dated in high school and somehow he managed to locate me in different towns (and different last names) over the years just to say hi. We had just spoken at length as I had randomly found a skiing friend of his in my tiny town of Othello WA and planned a dinner together soon. A senseless and tragic accident stole his life. Gone too soon my friend but never forgotten. You will be missed —especially our shared philosophies of life as we’ve known it. RIP Phyllis D (Pennebaker) Slayton |
