| About | memorial: Professional Football Player. He played the wide receiver position for the National Football League's New Orleans Saints from 1971 to 1974. He played football collegiately at the University of Oregon, where he earned All-America honors after having 67 receptions for 1,123 yards and seven touchdowns in 1970. In the 1971 NFL Draft, he was drafted in the 7th round by the New Orleans Saints. He went on to play for the Saints for the next four seasons before ending his football career after the 1974 season. His professional career statistics included 124 receptions for 1,877 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was inducted into the University of Oregon's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994.
