| About | November 17, 1969 - July 5, 1998 "A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 1998, in Sandy Assembly of God for Anthony L. Cannon, who died July 5 of cancer at age 28. Mr. Cannon was born Nov. 17, 1969, in Portland. He served in the U.S. Army from 1988 through 1995 and was awarded the Purple Heart and other medals. He worked in construction, then as a loan representative at Merchant's Bank in Gresham. Survivors include his fiancee, Debbi Brittle of Boring; son, Cameron of Sandy; mother and stepfather, Darlene and Jim Pine of Sandy; father and stepmother, John and Maureen Cannon of Wamic; brother, Adam of Sandy and grandmother, Neva Bennett of Sandy. Disposition was by burial. Arrangements were by Sandy Funeral Home. The family suggests remembrances to the Sandy Volunteer Fire Department. " (From the Sandy Post) |
