| About | Lana Mae Vern Gillum July 24, 1970 - Jan. 10, 2007 "Sandy resident Lana Mae Vern Gillum, 36, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007. A memorial service was held Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at Good Shepherd Community Church, Boring. Private interment was at Cliffside Cemetery, Sandy. She was born July 24, 1970, in Portland to Larry and Carol Morgan. When she was in first grade, her family moved from Gresham to Sandy, where she graduated from Sandy High School in 1988. She continued her education at Mt. Hood Community College and the University of Oregon. On Feb. 26, 1994, Lana married Richard Gillum. They made their home in Sandy. Lana was a homemaker and a member of Orient Drive Baptist Church. She enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, traveling, snorkeling and scuba diving. Survivors include her husband of Sandy; sons, Caleb Gillum and Joshua Gillum; daughter, Micah Marie Grace Gillum; father of Tigard; mother and stepfather, Carol and Frank Scott of Sandy; brothers, Don Morgan of Brisbane, Australia, and Greg Scott of Clackamas; and sister, Heidi Yungeberg of Sandy."
