About | John Kincaid passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on September 29 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. John was the beloved husband of Anita (Eggert) Kincaid. John was born in Annville, PA and lived most of his life in Hanover, PA. He was a son of the late James Kincaid, Sr. and Betty (Asper) Kincaid. John was a proud 1974 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School where he played soccer and ran track and cross-county. He continued these sports at West Chester University where he graduated in 1978 with degrees in Chemistry and Geology. He continued his post graduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. John worked as a research chemist at ESAB in Hanover for 38 years. He shared his love for athletics with his community as a youth and high school soccer coach for over 20 years. John loved being outdoors hiking and canoeing with his family and friends. He cherished his canoeing and backpacking adventures with his brothers and passed on his love of nature to his children. His travels stretched from the summit of Mt. Washington to the trails of Yosemite. In addition to Anita, his wife of 42 years, he is survived by three children: Ann Kincaid and husband Beau Bowden, Ian S. Kincaid, Jenna Kincaid and husband David Aguasca; three grandchildren: Belle and Maggie Bowden and Javier Aguasca Kincaid; two brothers James Kincaid, Jr. and wife Kathy and Samuel Kincaid and wife Pam, and sister Susan Kincaid and husband Ralph Luongo; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:30AM from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. A viewing will be held from 9:30AM until the time of his service at the funeral home.
