About | Daniel J. Legersky, 36, of Kittanning, died Tuesday (April 6, 2004) in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Feb. 16, 1968, in Natrona Heights, Harrison. A financial analyst, he worked for Mellon Financial in Pittsburgh. Mr. Legersky was a member of First Baptist Church, Ford City, where he was a deacon. An avid fisherman, astronomer and hunter, he was a member of the Pony Farm Sportsman's Club and Kiski Astronomers. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bennett Legersky; his mother, Virginia Nale Legersky of Apollo; four brothers, Michael (Connie) Legersky of Kersey, Thomas (Syrie) Legersky of Spring Church, Steven Legersky of Colorado, and Larry (Beth) Legersky of St. Marys; and two sisters, Becky Silvis of Apollo and Mrs. Jenny (Christopher) Dilick of Vandergrift. He was preceded in death by his father, John Legersky; and a brother, Robert Legersky. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. Officiating will be the Rev. Al Kearns. Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington. |
