| About | Marissa Lee Boyan, 26, of Canonsburg, Cecil Township, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with her illness. She was born October 28, 1980, in Mt. Lebanon, a daughter of William E. and Janet Hanna Boyan of Canonsburg. Miss Boyan was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1999 and Kenyon College in 2004 and received a master's of education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught in Bethel Park School District, where she was cross country coach. She also was a swim coach in Washington YMCA. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her fiancé, Jay Fletcher; a brother, Gregory Boyan of Buffalo, N.Y.; maternal grandparents Jim and Lee Hanna of Canonsburg; and paternal grandparents William and Ruth Boyan of Bishop. |
