| About | Lisa Leeper Mrs. Lisa M. (Baer) Leeper, 50, of 586 Anthony Highway, Fayetteville, died at 1:17 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2011, in the Chambersburg Hospital, following a long illness. Born November 28, 1960 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Harris W. Baer, Jr. and Mary Jane (Wingert) Baer. Lisa graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the class of 1978. She and her husband of over 20 years, Dwayne E. Leeper, were married on February 2, 1990 in Hagerstown, MD. They have lived at their present residence since the marriage. Lisa worked as a dietary aide at South Mountain Restoration Center, retiring on medical disability in 1994. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and shopping. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Kenneth W. Baer and Shawn J. Baer; two sisters, Donna L. Reasner and Carla J. Donley; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral, Tuesday afternoon, in the funeral home.
