| About | Susan Y Bricker, 63, of Chambersburg, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born Wednesday, May 20, 1959 in Walnut Bottom, she was a daughter of the late Reuben Diller and Dorothy Varner Shaffer. Susan was a 1978 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, and she received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Shippensburg University. She retired as a Project Manager for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Frederick MD. Susan was a master gardener, enjoyed hiking, biking, kayaking, and loved the outdoors. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer J. Miller and Sydney E. Bricker, both of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Michael R. and Christopher R. Miller, both of Hagerstown, MD; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Jane A. (Richard) Shriner, and JoAnne E. Diller Burkholder, both of Shippensburg; and two brothers, Gary L. Diller, Chambersburg, and John R. (Barb) Diller, Walnut Bottom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Jean Leedy, and Lena “Cookie” Diller. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Rails to Trails Council, P.O.
