Craig M. Austin, 57, of Palmer Township, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Gracedale. Born: March 26, 1954, in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was a son of the late Gilbert D. and June Day Austin. Personal: He and his wife, the former Debra M. Altmann, celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2011. Craig was last employed by Nestle Waters. Previously he worked for MCS Plastics for 18 years. He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1972. Craig enjoyed golfing, woodworking and building things. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Debra, he is survived by two sons, Joshua J., of Bethlehem Township and Zachary T. and his wife Alicia, of West Easton; a daughter, Elizabeth A., at home; a brother, Thomas D., of Norristown, PA; a sister, Amy E. Halloran and her husband Steve, of Exeter, NH; a brother-in-law, Christian Altmann and his wife, Catherine, of Palmer Township; three sisters-in-law, Paula Kirkland, of Easton, Karla Altmann, of Northampton and Vickie Austin, of Palmer Township; a soon to be born grandson, Thomas Patrick; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert David Austin. Services: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11 in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Saturday 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
