About | Duane H. Clark, 59, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at his home. He was born on Aug. 3, 1963, in Franklin, to Wayne H. Clark Jr. and Dixie (Wolfe) Clark. His mother Dixie precedes him in death. He was a 1981 graduate of Franklin High School, where he studied Appliance Repair at Vo-Tech. Duane loved his family immensely and always enjoyed spending time with them. He was very dependable and was always happy to help wherever needed. He was a member of the Coon & Fox Club, and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and spending time at trout camp. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Left to cherish his memory are his father; his fiancé April Colwell; his children, Kristi Couch and her partner Tyler Slagle of Oil City, Misti Ali and her fiancé James Cook of Oil City, Tiffani Krupitzer and her husband Kyle of Oil City, Duane Clark Jr. of Germany, Nicholas Clark and his wife MyKenna of Jacksonville, NC, Brittani Romero of Thomasville, NC, and his bonus children James Shoffstall of Oil City, Jamie Lintz of Franklin and Ashley Perry Cale and her husband Jeffery of Dravosburg; his grandchildren, Amina Ali, Kaiya Schleifer, Tariq Ali, Emberli Couch, Will Krupitzer, Hudson Clark, Amaryllis Shoffstall, Alexander “Boogie” Lintz, Willow Lintz, Elizabeth Shoffstall, Theodore Shoffstall, Cialeigh Romero and Lylah Romero; his siblings, Brenda O’Neil and her husband Bill of Polk, and Curtis Clark Sr. and his wife Kristie of Franklin, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his mother, Duane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wayne H. Clark Sr. and June Clark; his maternal grandmother Mary Wolfe; and special family friend Nick Deal. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. A celebration of life for Duane will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, Pa. 16323, at 5 p.m. Duane will be laid to rest in Franklin Cemetery. |
