| About | SURFSIDE BEACH, SC Dennis J. Mack, 63, of Surfside Beach, SC, formerly of Nazareth, PA, died on Monday, Sept. 13, in St. Francis Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC. Born on February 2, 1958 in Easton, PA, Dennis was a son of the late John Wilbur Mack and Veronica Riley Mack. He was the beloved husband of Roberta Mack. They were married for 32 years. Den graduated from Freedom High School in 1976. Den worked for a number of companies including Delaware Quarries, Mack Printing, and Waste Management and also had a lawn care and painting business. He enjoyed the outdoors, his family beach vacations, spending time with family and friends, his new home in Surfside Beach, SC, just blocks from the ocean and making new friends. Everybody liked Denny. In addition to his loving wife and best friend, Roberta, Dennis is survived by Zachery Frey and his wife Rebecca, Jamie Cassidy and her husband Samuel, his brothers Donald Mack and his wife Margo, James Mack and his wife Jodie, William Mack and his wife Jan, brother-in-law Richard and Tracey Heffelfinger, sisters-in-law Sue Hildebrand and her husband Roy, Sally Gassler, Moselle Schoenfelder and her husband Steve, grandchildren, Jacob and fiancee Abigail, Dylan, Laurell, Brianna, Alayna, and Dravyn, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, John Wilbur Mack Jr. and Ronald Dennis Mack. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
