| About | James R. Beers, 52, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011, at the home of his cousin, Robert and Sharon Weisenberg, with whom he resided. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary (ONeill) Beers. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, James owned and operated Quality Home Improvements in Norfolk, VA, where he lived for 30 years. A Gibson guitar fan, he was an accomplished guitarist. Survivors: sisters, Jane Williams of Camden, DE, and Jeanette Beers of Olney, MD; a niece and two nephews. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
