About Steven Joseph Jacko, 63, passed away peacefully and after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday August 5, 2022 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to the late Steven G. Jacko& Anna Ruth Nagy Jacko.

Along with his parents, Steven is reunited in passing with his sister, Monica Danko.

Steven was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He was a skilled lineman for many years, until his well-deserved retirement. In his free time, Steven relished time spent making memories with family and friends. He was an active member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church where he proudly took part in the Knight of Columbus, Council 11028 and where he achieved his 4th degree Knight. Above all else, Steven loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Steven’s memory are his sister, Ann P. Butryn and her husband, Michael of Murrells Inlet; son, Steven A. Jacko of Bethlehem, PA; two nieces; 2 nephews; six gran-nieces; three grand-nephews; one great-grandniece; one great-grandnephew; as well as many loving and supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Steven’s life will be held on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 11:00AM at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585. Inurnment will immediately follow within the church columbarium.
