About | Jack Elmer Leonard, Jr., 67, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home with loving family by his side on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born on Sunday, April 17, 1955 in Harrisburg to the late Jack E. Leonard, Sr. and Clara J. (Carlisle) Leonard. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Teresa (Lynch) Leonard; a son, Taylor Leonard and wife Petra of the Czech Republic; a grandson, Theodore Leonard; two sisters, Sue Gasper and husband Fred of Harrisburg, and Dianne Blackburn of Harrisburg; a brother, Bob Leonard of Mt. Holly Springs; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Shettle and husband Rick of Etters; numerous nieces and nephews. Jack graduated from Harrisburg High in 1973. He was the owner operator of Leonard's Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, earning the designation of Master Plumber. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his yard and garden, bird watching, and golf. Jack was a loving and kind family man-husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew and loved him. Jack was also active as a Boy Scout leader, and a Track and Field coach for St. Josephs Catholic School. He taught plumbing at the Vocational School of Technology. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. |
