About | Jay Hollman, 55, of Market St., transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, son of the late Sam and Marie (Simon) Hollman, a 1973 graduate of the former John Harris Senior High School, a veteran of the U. S. Army, an employee of DDSP in New Cumberland and in his leisure, enjoyed sports, dancing, sharing wisdom and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by 3 of his brothers, Joe, Henry and Robert "Bobby" Hollman and leaves to celebrate his life, his common-law wife, Joyce Scott; his sons and daughter-in-law, Jay, Jr. and Tania Hollman of Florida and Tristan Hollman of Harrisburg; his stepdaughters, Teleah Scott of Maryland and Yolanda Scott Humphrey-Thomas of North Carolina; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert and Patricia Hollman and David and Rhonda Hollman of Harrisburg; his sister, Linda Sample of South Carolina; his two granddaughters; four grandsons; a great-grandson; an uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jay's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 29th at 11 a.m. in The Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with viewing 10 until 11 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. |
