| About | Russell B. "Russ" Benton, 50, of Jefferson Street, Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, the son of the late Eva Mae White Benton and Clarence Benton, Sr., a graduate of Harrisburg High School and a member of Imani African Christian Church. Russell leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Yvette "Tiny" Benton; his daughters, Natasha Alli Anderson and Rasheenya Benton; his son, Jabarah Curry, his stepsons, Anthony, Antwon and Marquell Watson; his sister, Bernice "Sis" Bethea; his brothers, Lee and Vernon Benton, all of Harrisburg, Hoover Benton of Cheyenne, WY and Frank Benton of New Bern, NC; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His life will be celebrated on Tuesday at 7 p.m., in his church at 14th and Cumberland Streets, with viewing from 6 until 7 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Ministry of Comfort of Major H.
