| About | awnya DuBose Johnson, 47, of Pebblebrook Lane, Susquehanna Township, passed away Monday, April 7, in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was a 1973 graduate of Harrisburg High School and retired as a trainer and manager for Verizon. Tawnya was a member of Hillside Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she was a member of Essence of Joy, the Choir, Youth Dept. Leader, an Usher, Sabbath School Teacher, Home and School Leader, Hostess, Pathfinder Counselor and Church Clerk. She loved to read, write and work on the computer. She leaves to celebrate her life, her beloved daughter, Hadiya Suzanne DuBose Smith, her beloved sons, Adrian DuBose and Michael Lee Johnson, Jr., all of Harrisburg; her mother, Tish Lester of Pottstown, PA; a sister, Adrienne Gillis of California; five brothers, Overton, Zachary, La Pierre and Willie Gillis, all of Washington, D.C. and Carlton Gillis of Pottstown, PA and a grandson, Adrian DuBose, Jr. |
