| About | Thomasene Smith, 58, of N. 6th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Boykin) Allen, a graduate of the former John Harris High School, retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Transportation and a member of At The Cross Church of God in Christ, where she served on the Usher Board, Choir and Hospitality Committee. Thomasene loved music and in her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, watching Westerns and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, James Anthony Allen and five of her siblings, Mildred, Margaret "Susie", Charles and James Allen and Samuel Holley and she leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter, Tamika Doaks of Harrisburg; her sons, Ronald Allen of Stockridge, GA and Tyrone J. Allen; her brother, Walter Allen, both of Harrisburg; her 10 grandchildren; one great-grand and a host of other relatives and friends. |
