| About | Photojournalism student Takashi Aoyama '14 (Photography), who was shooting pictures of a three-alarm fire at a South Philadelphia fabric store on April 6 2013, captured a striking photo of Philadelphia Fire Department Captain Michael Goodwin as he entered the burning building. That image turned out to be the final photograph taken of the 29-year veteran, who later died when the roof of the three-story building collapsed beneath his feet, followed by the subsequent collapse of a second-floor roof and two walls. |
