| About | Whiteman , Kirk E. 59 Ligonier, Formerly of McKeesport Kirk E. Whiteman, 59, of Ligonier, formerly of McKeesport, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born April 28, 1952, in McKeesport, the son of the late William E. and Lavern Berrier Whiteman. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and West Virginia University. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Eonta Whiteman; sons, Eric L. (Joelle) Whiteman, of White Oak, and Brian M. Whiteman, of McKeesport; daughter, Kari E. (Dwight) Hill, of McKeesport; brother, Linn (Ruth) Whiteman, of White Oak; grandchildren, Devin Whiteman, Taylor Hill and Briella Whiteman; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Whiteman. Friends are welcome from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township.
