| About | 1951 - 09 Obituary Randle A. "Randy" Benson, 63, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, in UPMC McKeesport. Born Sept. 10, 1951, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Eric and Vera (Nelson) Benson. A Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, Randy worked most recently as an assistant to Henry Phipps Hoffstott Jr. in Pittsburgh. Randy was a good friend to many but a better husband, father and grandfather to his family. They will miss him. He is survived by his wife, Roberta L. "Bert" (Suarez) Benson; his daughter, Kelly S. (Tom) McCloskey, of Elizabeth Township; his son, Randy D. (Sara) Benson, of McKeesport; his stepchildren, Kris Stitt, Michael Jackson and Michelle Cramer; his grandchildren, Tommy, Jakob, Mya Rose, Brianna, Taylor, Brealyn and Alana; his sisters, Elaine (Tom) Stock, of Marietta, Ga., and Carol Brown, of Greensburg; his brother, Jon (Marianne) Benson, of Atlanta, Ga.; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, in the DANIEL F.
