| About | Susan M. (Meckley) Spangler, 82, passed Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of the late Clyde H. Spangler, Jr, her husband of 42 years, who passed July 21, 2006. Sue was born September 15, 1943, in Hanover, the daughter of the late David S. and Jennie M. (Hamme) Meckley. Sue was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C. in Abbottstown where she enjoyed participating in the church choir for many years. Sue is survived by a daughter, Wendy Rodriguez and her husband (Joseph) Rocky of Brea, CA, a brother, James Meckley and his wife Joanne, a sister, Norma Jean Meyers and her husband David, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Edward F. and Samuel H. Spangler. |
