Dave was a really friendly guy who enjoyed playing football and being involved in many activities. At the age of 6 he received a spoiled vaccine for a school vaccination which caused him to contract encephalitis lethargica. He ws in a coma for 3 months in Buffalo Children's Hospital, but recovered to be able to continue his education. He was also hit in the eye by a snowball while in Jr High School and became blind in that eye. His Mother, Marge VanScoter, was the high school school secretary.. . |
