About | I am sharing this as Ed's wife ... he loved staying in touch with his school friends .. I hope you all know that. you were all special to him .... jodi Pastor Edwin L. Reese 60, of Morrisville PA, unexpectedly passed away on August 17th, 2019. Born in Clearfield, PA, he grew up in Philipsburg, PA, and attended Penn State University. He received his Bachelors in Liberal Arts, then joined the U.S. Navy and finished as a Lt. He continued his education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago and got his Masters in Divinity. Most recently, he was working as a Chaplain for Eleanor’s Garden Hospice in Philadelphia as well as theVisitation Pastor at First Baptist Church of Morrisille. He was the Former Pastor of Hazelwood Baptist Church, former youth Pastor of State College Evangelical Free Church for 6 years, and Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fairmont, MN for 6 years. Ed was a huge history buff; he often used unusual historical facts in his sermon, mostly the Revolutionary war. He enjoyed reading books, even when he would drive, he constantly listened to audio books. His favorite sport was basketball, whether that meant playing or watching it on TV. He also loved to watch Animal Planet, and animals in general. But most of all, Ed was a family man who loved spending time with those closest to him. Son of the late Franklin Reese, Ed was blessed with two loving mothers. After the unforeseen death of Donna Rae, Frank remarried Ed’s second mother, the former Kay Price, who lives in Martinsburg, PA. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Jodi (Marchincin of Fieldsboro NJ); his children, Brynn and Kyler; his mother, Kay Reese; his brothers, Dan Reese and his wife, Andi, Dave Reese and his wife, Michelle, and Tom Reese; his sisters, Laurie Aquilino and her husband, Armond, Christie Peel, and her husband, Doug, and many other extended family and friends. |
