| About | Bethany Jean Gumble, 66, of Oley, passed away, Sunday, March 6th, 2022, at Reading Hospital - Tower Health. She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde David Gumble, who she married April 19, 1980. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late John William, and Virginia Bessie (Bonsall) Gordon. Bethany was a 1973 graduate of Ridley High School, Ridley, PA. She loved camping and kayaking, especially at World Ends Park, where she has enjoyed for 50 years. In addition to her husband Clyde, Bethany is survived by two children, David Jackson Gumble, husband of Marisa (Schmura), Fleetwood, and Kristen Hasenauer, wife of Nathan, Muhlenberg Township. Four grandchildren: Hailey Gumble; Carsyn Gumble; Jaxon Gumble; and Jase Hasenauer; and three siblings: John W. Gordon, III, husband of Joy (Clayton), Strongville, OH; Bruce Gordon, husband of Terry, Glen Mills, PA; and Cheryl Walsh, wife of Richard, Melrose, MA, also survive her. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 11th, 2022, at 5:30 P.M., at Stitzel Family Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M..
