| About | Betty Jane (Hartranft) Davis, 76, of Oxford, NJ, formerly of Yucaipa, CA and Washington, NJ, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Warren Haven Nursing Home. Born in Tamaqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond & Priscilla (Shellhammer) Hartranft. Her husband of 50 years, Darwin “Trigger” Davis died in September 2002. Betty enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going to Las Vegas with her daughters, and a yearly vacation to Wildwood with her daughters after her husband passed away. Surviving are 3 daughters; Marlene (Ray) Goldsboro of Yucaipa, CA, Maryann (Fred) Perry of Washington, NJ, and Sharon Kay (Lester) Horvath of Stewartsville, NJ. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters, MariJo & Danielle, 2 grandsons, Fred & Raymond, and 4 great grandchildren, Katelyn, Kyle, Makenzie & Madison. She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; Edward in 1915, Naomi in 1928, Robert in 1939 and Alice in 2003. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. |
