About | Stephenie A. Freed, 51, of Fredonia passed away Friday, June 1, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, following a short illness. Born Oct. 4, 1966, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Stephen J. and Anna Mae Cook Rogers. She was married to David Freed, he survives. Stephenie was a member of the Western PA Dairy Goat Association. A published author, she wrote two books, “When Buddy Sings,” and “Lady in the Lane.” Her most cherished time was spent with her children and family. Survivors include five daughters, Teala and Sabrena Freed, of Grove City, Sara-Anne, Ashlee L., Caya-Dawn, and a son, Sean-Michael, all of Fredonia;. two sisters, Stacy (David) Waters of Washington, Pa., and Shannon Rodgers, of Kentucky. Friends will be received on Thursday, from noon until the time of memorial service, at 1 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum, with Rev. Todd Davis officiating.
