Barbara L. Blakeslee, 70, of Erie, Pa., passed away at her residence, surrounded by family members. Born Dec. 13, 1942, in Union City, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lula Blakeslee. Barbara enjoyed all sports, especially golfing, and loved to travel and gamble at casinos. She was a teacher at McDowell High School and belonged to the Pennsylvania State Teachers Association. Survivors include brothers, Pete Blakeslee and wife, Marge, and Clare Blakeslee and wife,Karen;nieces,Heidi Dumanski,Margaret Smith,Beverly Hodgins and Mary Ellen Wenzel;a very special friend, Alice Ritchey of Erie, Pa., and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Burial was in Rootville Cemetary, Rootville, Pa. |
